Duotrigordle and Wordle
Wordle is one hidden word and six guesses. Duotrigordle keeps the tile marks and asks you to clear 32 words with 37 guesses.
If you already play Wordle, the colors will feel familiar. A green tile is the right letter in the right place. A gold tile is the right letter in the wrong place. A gray tile is a letter the answer is not still offering. The change is the number of answers, and the fact that one typed word is graded on all of them.
What the extra boards change
In Wordle, five of the six guesses can be pure information and the sixth can be the answer. Duotrigordle gives you the same five-guess cushion, then one guess per board. After the opening, most guesses should finish a word. A guess that only gathers information on the later boards is one of those five spares being spent.
Keyboard colors in Wordle describe the only answer. Here they describe the board you have pinned. Another board can still want a letter this keyboard shows as gray. Check the board number before you trust a gray key.
Questions
Is Duotrigordle the same as Wordle?
The tile rules match. Green, gold, and gray mean the same thing, including how duplicate letters are spent. Duotrigordle then runs 32 of those puzzles at once and gives you 37 guesses instead of 6.
Can a Wordle starter still work?
A strong Wordle opener is a reasonable first guess, because it is scored on every unsolved board. You will usually want two or three openers that cover different letters before you start naming single boards.
