Why 69 guesses
The usual multi-board budget is the number of words plus five spare guesses. Duotrigordle is 32 plus 5, which is 37. Doubling the boards gives 64 plus 5, which is 69. You can fail to finish a board with at most five guesses. A sixth empty guess makes a perfect finish impossible.
Each guess is still applied to every unsolved board. Solved boards lock. Tap a board to read its keyboard colors without mixing them with the other 63. The daily 64 uses its own word set, so it does not match the 32-word puzzle for the same date.
