How the game works
Duotrigordle is 32 Wordle boards played with one shared list of guesses. You have 37 tries to name every word.
Type a five-letter word and press enter. That word is checked against every board you have not solved yet. Boards that are already solved stay frozen, so later guesses do not add rows to them. The game ends when all 32 words are found, or when the 37th guess is spent with boards still open.
Tile colors
Green means the letter is in the answer and in that exact position. Gold means the letter is in the answer but in a different position. Gray means the letter is not in the answer, or the answer has already used up its copies of that letter.
Greens are decided first. Take the guess BOOKS against the answer BOOST. The B, both O letters, and the position match, so those three tiles are green. K is not in BOOST, so it is gray. The final S matches the unused S in BOOST, so it is gold. A second copy of a letter never turns gold just because the first copy did.
The guess budget
Thirty-two boards need at least 32 solving guesses if each guess finishes only one word. The daily game adds 5 spare guesses, for 37 total. If six of your guesses finish nothing, you cannot clear the board even if the rest are perfect. That is why the opening words matter: they should cover common letters, not chase a single board.
This site draws answers from a list of 2,315 words. Guesses can also use a wider list of 12,972 five-letter words. A guess outside that list is rejected and does not cost a try.
Other ways to play
Sequence shows one board at a time and allows 39 guesses. The next board appears only after the current word is solved, and guesses do not touch hidden boards. Jumble enters three random opening words for you and allows 38 guesses. Perfect makes the first word you type correct on one board, then requires every later guess to solve at least one board, with 32 guesses in all. The 64-board game uses the same shared scoring with 64 words and 69 guesses.
Tap a board to pin it above the keyboard. The keyboard colors follow that board only, so you can read one word without the other 31 fighting for the same keys. A colorblind setting swaps green and gold for blue and orange.
Questions
Does one guess hit every board?
In the daily game, jumble, perfect, and 64, yes. A guess is scored on each unsolved board. Solved boards stop taking new guesses. In sequence, the guess hits only the single open board.
How are duplicate letters scored?
Greens are marked first. Each letter in the answer can justify only one tile. A second copy of a letter turns gold only if the answer still has an unused copy, otherwise it turns gray.
What counts as a valid guess?
A guess must be five letters and in the word list. The list includes the answer words plus extra words that can be guessed but are never the hidden word.
